| The Little Tractor
That Could James Little, owner of Little Tractor & Equipment Co. has a love of tractors that started at an early age. As a young man, James started selling tractors as a hobby in addition to working a full time job. He would buy used tractors, fix them up and sell them with a 30-day warranty. He soon gained a reputation for his honesty and knowledge of the machines. For several years he would work ten to twelve hour days at his own business as a contractor and then come home to sell tractors in the evening. After a while, he gave up his carpentry business and decided to give tractors his full attention. He worked from home his first year and after 'testing the waters' decided to look for a store front location in Metropolis. In January of 2000 he opened his first commercial location and as of 2004 upsized the lot for the third time to it's current location at West 10th Street.  |

Kathy
Kathy has been with Little Tractor for 6 years. She enjoys working in the farm equipment industry greatly and as an added bonus enjoys the customers that come in and the people she works with. She is known by her co-workers as a hard worker with great attention to detail and an incredible memory. It's been said that she's critical to have on hand when dealing with a stressful situation and is as much fun as a barrel of monkeys to work with.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading mysteries, watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
Pat
Pat has been with Little Tractor since 2006. She enjoys the easy going atmosphere at Little Tractor, as well as chatting with the customers; old and new alike. She is known by her co-workers as reliable. They enjoy her laughter, her personable nature and appreciate the fact that she takes a personal interest in the customers she comes in contact with.
In her spare time, Pat enjoys attending church, spending time with her family and hunting.

Jay
Jay began working at Little Tractor in 2001. Jay enjoys having been a part of the Little Tractor family for as long as he has and looks forward to his daily interaction with new, as well as repeat customers. He is described by employees as hilarious, hard working, focused and genuine.
Jay spends his spare time working in his yard and vinyard, bow hunting and playing with his yorkies.
Monica
Monica began working at Little Tractor in 2003. She enjoys her job in the parts department and enjoys the fun and interesting customers she deals with, as well as the exchange of knowledge that occurs on a daily basis regarding parts and equipment. Monica is known as a hard worker who strives to learn something new as often as possible.
In her spare time, Monica enjoys working on her truck (1983 Silverado), spending time fishing in the great outdoors and grilling. Monica is said to be an excellent cook.
Ben
Ben began working with Little Tractor in 2006. He enjoys his job in the parts department and likes the fact that he stays busy with details, helping the day to fly by. Ben's co-workers enjoy his ability to mix wit with work in a very effective manner, as well as his knowledge of parts and equipment.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys music, having played in several local bands and playing his Telecaster and Gibson J45. Ben also enjoys spending quality time with his family.
