After my wife got home, I got on the tractor for only the second time since looking at it at your store and bladed new rock drive with the bucket and my blade.  I then got the bush hog mower attached and moved for about an hour.  I got a 1/3 of 5 acres mowed in that time.  In the past it would have taken much longer.  I tried mowing in 1st high gear and then using the lower gears.
I found that low 4th worked the best at this thick grass.
The fuel gauge barely budged during this time.

I just finished clearing forty 50' to 60' pine and maple trees from my back yard this weekend.  I thought you would be interested in knowing we had three ck20's and the ck30 there along with our 655 Ford backhoe and a John Deere loader.

The Kiotis were in constant motion while the backhoe and the John Deere sat most of the time. They are so handy it is amazing what they will accomplish even given their size compared to the Backhoe. The "fit and finish" on these tractors seems to be top of the line. The hydro is very solid and the hydraulics-especiallyon the ck30-are amazing.

I got the email address of a dealer in Metropolis, IL (you know, home of Superman) and sent a message. I got a prompt, courteous response answering all of my many questions, and he also sent literature (with pricing) on all of the Kioti tractors. I took a trip to this dealer (Little Tractor and Equipment) and was quite impressed with the owner, James Little, and his operation. He has been in business for 12 years in tractor sales and has carried Kioti for over 3 years. He has (at any one time) 15-20 Kiotis on the lot, as well as used tractors and Daewoo SkidSteer loaders. Anyway, I test drove a couple of Kiotis and was very impressed.


To make a long story longer, I sold my Belarus and called James Little on Tuesday morning to let him know I was ready to buy a DK 45. He told me he was sorry, but he had sold the two he had on the lot but he
would get me one as soon as hew could (I was thinking probably a week). He called me back within an hour and he had a truck with 2 DK 45s, 2 DK 40s, and some smaller tractors on its was from North Carolina.
He received the load yesterday morning and let me know that he hoped to have my tractor delivered later that evening.  He called me several times thoughout the day, updating me on his progress and at about 3:30
PM he called and got directions to my place. He got here about 7:30 with the tractor (complete with a 6' rotary cutter and canopy, the only options/attachments I needed/could afford right now). We unloaded the
tractor and he went over everything one more time. I might also point out that I am also about 60 miles away from his shop and he delivered for free (I thought that this was common, but I talked to other dealers and most charged for deliver, even when they were only 20-30 miles away).


In conclusion, I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and I plan on celebrating the 4th by adding some hours to my new tractor. I can't say enough good things about James and his company (he has a website currently under construction - www.littletractor.net). It was honestly the best buying experience I have ever had.

...but he doesn't work for the Daily Planet, he sells Kioti tractors.
And he's not Clark Kent, he's James Little.

We have been working on our house foundation off and on for most of
the fall and winter and I decided a few weeks ago it was time to quite
borrowing other people's backhoes and buy one for my Kioti DK 45. I
sent James an email and got a quote on a Kioti KB2385. I got a prompt
reply and with just a little begging and wheeling on my part, I got
approval from the wife/CFO.

James got a backhoe for me on his next load of Kiotis and let me know
when it arrived. He came by my place on Tuesday evening and picked up
my tractor, took it back to Metropolis, installed the backhoe the next day and brought it back last night (tractor was gone from my possession less
than 24 hours).


Even after getting to my place after dark, James took the time to show
me all the operational, maintenance and safety features for the backhoe
and explained the installation and removal of it. He brought all the
paperwork to me to sign and in general took care of everything.


I won't get a chance to use my new backhoe until this weekend, but it
should be quite a workout as I have to re-excavate part of our basement
and footers and I've got lots of utility lines, footers, etc. to get dug.

To make a long story longer, I couldn't be happier with the service that I
have gotten from either Kioti in general or Little Tractor in particular.
Since buying my DK 45 and Howse bushhog, I've been back and bought
a second Howse bushhog (actually my dad's, because he liked mine), a
Rhino 2309 loader for the DK45, a Kioti 4' finish mower for my Yanmar,
a Grasshopper 721D (that was actually purchased by a committee from
where I work at, but I pointed for us to checkout Little Tractor) and now
a backhoe for the DK45. I hope that the repeat business is a testament to
the quality of the Dealer who still treats me as a friend with every deal
and James always takes the time to talk to me even with one of the
busiest and toughest schedules of anybody I know.


I'll keep you guys updated on my new backhoe.
Just had to brag about my new stuff and my great dealer.
